Deco wonder-goal

Yesterday’s Chelsea-Bolton Premiership clash saw Portuguese midfielder Deco score his first club goal since the end of August. It was worth the wait. Take a look at the video.

Deco started the Chelsea attack which led to the goal. When the move broke down, he was lurking in the area to scissor-kick Michael Ballack’s header into the net. The spectacular volley
sealed a 2-0 win for the Blues.

It’s strange how a goal drought that saw Deco score just one goal in three months - a penalty for Portugal against Denmark - could end with such an agile finish. He’ll be hoping for more in the midweek Champions League fixture against CFR Cluj.

That’s brilliant. Course, he’s still a wee turd.

    Seville - never forget.

Fair play to the wee diver. That’s a beauty. But as your man says, it’s only the second time he’s hit the back of the net in three months. And the other one was a penalty. He’s no’ exactly prolific.
