Kung fu for keepers

Full-time goalkeeper and part-time sociopath Gastón Sessa attempts to decapitate Boca’s Rodrigo Palacio.

Sessa, who plays for Vélez Sársfield, is infamous for bad behaviour. Some of his more colourful indiscretions include grabbing a referee by the throat, dropping his shorts in front of Racing Club fans when a penalty was awarded against Vélez, and thumping the ball into the face of a ballboy. His club banned him for the rest of the 2007 season for this incident.

Unlike this high boot assault, the culprit didn’t escape unpunished. Sessa was red-carded and the referee awarded a penalty to the home side. Martin Palermo missed the spot-kick, but Boca still managed a 3-0 win.

    X-rated stuff.

D’you think the keeper did it cos he was scared of getting bumped in the air? Or is he just a mental bastard? :-)

Mental bastard. Definitely. You only have to look at his rap sheet.
